New glass for the new year!
The first day of the lunar new year (year of the Dragon) was yesterday. One tradition my family followed growing up was to wear something new to start the new year. With the birth of my daughter, aka Dinosaur Chick, my free time has been limited so I wasn't able to go shopping for a new outfit. Luckily, I had ordered some classes (frames from ebay and lenses from an online glasses shop) that came just in time. Here they are:
I like them, though they do feel a little bold to me. They were previously owned by someone who kept them in pristine condition.
Since I couldn't make it back to NYC this year, as per J's suggestion, I hosted a dinner party with foods I grew up eating. I'll post more about how I celebrated Chinese New Year's this year in Pittsburgh when I get the pictures uploaded from our camera.
